Chloe Frances Smith is a multimedia visual artist born and raised in Alabama. She graduated from The Fashion Institute of Technology with a BFA in Photography while also receiving a triple minor in the History of Art, Ethics and Sustainability, and Film and Media Studies. She is currently pursuing her MFA at Columbia University in Writing for Film and Television.
Smith's work focuses on interpersonal relationships, her southern upbringing, and exploration of self through identity performance. These themes are brought to life using analog photography, writing, video art, and interactive sculpture.
